HIGHBREED is a one-stop media sharing platform, for everything hype - freshest contents in streetwear, arts & crafts, culture and lifestyle. Yes, sneakers included, we love sneakerheads. HIGHBREED, founded by two friends which are very passion able on streetwear . With their talent in the design department, each individuals own an independent clothing label, with ‘NUTOY' (玩童), being one of it.
Being fresh and informative is what HIGHBREED is all about. HIGHBREED explores new creations, sub-cultures, uncovering talents, and most importantly HIGHBREED is dedicated to the locals. In hope of creating awareness on the area of interest while expanding knowledge for the community, we hope to engage with minds alike. Keep HIGHBREEDing!
Streetwear in Malaysia is still be probably considered as young and still undergoing the experimental phase. International brands like Stussy, Supreme, Nike made their marks on the local scene years back. As we’re living in the internet age, brands both well-known and new are more accessible to the community. While flagship stores are not easy establishments in Malaysia, we still can get goodies we've seen on the internet at stores that carry multiple brands, both international and local ones. Mind you, local labels are catching up really fast. Streetwear is about culture. It’s not about clothing. It's a lifestyle.
Arts and crafts especially handmade ones usually involve passion, talent and creativity. HIGHBREED hope to be one of the platform for talented craftmakers to showcase their goodies and creations while we curate their work digitally. All crafts deserve aesthetic appreciation while some even function for practical purposes. Homegrown arts and crafts certainly deserves brighter spotlight in the community.
Locally the Malaysian culture is extremely vibrant and colourful. HIGHBREED aspires to explore the current street culture with with access to industry influencers from dancers, musicians, online personalities and more. Stay tuned more interesting contents!
